About the Instructor

Precision Manufacturing
Starts With Precision Teaching

From the shop floor to the classroom — real-world machining experience driving the next generation of skilled machinists in the South Bay and South LA.

Mr. V

Meet Mr. V

Mr. V is a precision machinist turned educator with years of hands-on experience in CNC and manual machining. He currently teaches Advanced Manufacturing and Machine Tool Technology at two colleges in the South Los Angeles area.

His career spans production shops, toolrooms, and aerospace manufacturing — experience he brings directly into the classroom. Every lesson is grounded in what actually happens on the shop floor, because that's where students are headed.

Mr. V's mission is straightforward: take motivated students and turn them into skilled, employable machinists. No shortcuts. No fluff. Just precision.

Philosophy

Teaching Approach

Every course is built on four principles that reflect how real shops operate.

01

Hands-On First

Students learn by making chips. Every concept is reinforced at the machine — theory only sticks when you've seen it cut metal.

02

Industry Standards

Classroom expectations mirror the shop floor. Tolerances, safety protocols, and documentation standards match what employers demand.

03

Real-World Projects

Students machine functional parts, not just practice blocks. Projects are designed to build a portfolio that employers want to see.

04

Career Pathways

Every student leaves with a clear path forward — whether that's a job placement, apprenticeship, transfer, or NIMS certification.
